– Tenho certeza que essa combinação vai dar resultado e vamos fazer uma boa temporada. O ano de 2024 já começou, a gente já vem trabalhando nesse projeto há alguns dias, tanto na montagem do elenco, quanto na estruturação dos nossos alicerces de preparação e da parte funcional do trabalho e a organização dos detalhes da nossa pré-temporada, deixando tudo pronto para que possamos estar bem estruturados pra iniciar nossas atividades em novembro – afirmou o treinador.

O profissional tem passagens por Figueirense, Portuguesa, Boa Esporte e Patrocinense e teve como último trabalho a Seleção Cubana, onde ocupou o cargo de Coordenador Técnico. Em 2017, conquistou o título do Paulista A3 no comando do Nacional-SP e no próximo ano terá sua primeira oportunidade no Campeonato Carioca.

– Não tem como não ser audacioso. O Audax ficou em sexto no ano passado e já é motivo de muito empenho para que possamos superar esse resultado. Existem quatro gigantes, o Volta Redonda que está na Série C e temos que estar preparados para fazer um bom campeonato – afirmou Tuca, que finalizou falando das competições que o time vai disputar em 2024.

– Temos também a Copa do Brasil, que vamos buscar avançar ao máximo, não só pelo resultado esportivo, mas também por ser algo que oxigena o grupo de forma geral. Depois vamos pensar em Série D do Brasileiro no segundo semestre, o foco neste momento é planejar bem o Carioca e a Copa do Brasil para iniciar bem o ano e ter uma caminhada consistente – compeltou o comandante.

Sean Dyche was once part of a bust-up involving Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, and his comments on the situation have now emerged after taking over as the Reds’ new manager.

Dyche takes the reins as Forest manager following Ange exit

Having proven his ability to come in and stablise clubs during his time with Everton, Dyche has now taken charge at Forest, following a disastrous spell under the helm of Ange Postecoglou, with the Australian failing to win in eight games and lasting just 39 days.

The former Everton man’s first day on the training ground was Tuesday, with the new boss commencing preparations for Thursday’s tough test in the Europa League, as the Tricky Trees take on FC Porto at the City Ground.

Speaking after his return, the 54-year-old made it clear that he has a lot of love for his former club, saying: “I’ve often spoken about my affection for the Club, having started my career here under the great Brian Clough. I didn’t quite make it to the first team, but I have such fond memories from around the place — and hearing the boss’ voice in the distance.”

However, it remains to be seen how the ex-Nottingham Forest youth player finds working with Marinakis, given that the owner’s public falling out with Nuno led to the Portuguese manager’s departure earlier this season.

The Forest owner is known for his fiery temper, having been seen arguing with Nuno on the pitch near the end of the 2024-25 campaign, and The Sun report he was part of a bust-up involving Dyche after Burnley’s Europa League match with Olympiacos in 2018.

Heading into half-time at 1-1, Marinakis reportedly confronted the referees in the tunnel. Shortly after the break, Olympiacos restored their lead and Burnley’s Ben Gibson was sent off, leaving Dyche fuming.

The former Burnley manager’s comments from the time are eye opening: “I don’t know how many people ran on the pitch and surrounded the referee and linesman. The feel of the game changed in the second half, you’re left scratching your head.

“At half-time, there were plenty of people waiting for the ref in the tunnel.

“It wasn’t just the bench, it was people from the offices, even the tea lady! That’s a joke, of course, but it felt like everyone was piling on.”

Dyche has big task on his hands at Forest

Marinakis will no doubt be very frustrated Forest have been unable to kick on since sealing a return to Europe last season, especially considering how much he backed Nuno in the summer transfer window, spending around £206m.

However, having failed to win since the opening day of the campaign, the Tricky Trees have to be considered relegation candidates, with home defeats against a struggling West Ham United side and newly-promoted Sunderland particularly concerning.

Yuzvendra Chahal (2for 79) had made a double wicket strike last evening and while he and Keogh both found turn and bounce to beat the bat, they were often inconsistent as Reece and Guest tucked in to the bad balls.It was Keogh who trapped Hawkins lbw as he attempted to steer to leg. Guest brought up the 50 partnership off 82 balls by pulling Chahal through midwicket before going back to cut Keogh through extra cover.Northamptonshire turned to the pace of Liam Guthrie and thought they had the wicket of Guest on 36, appealing for what looked like an excellent diving catch by Justin Broad at short midwicket, the umpires conferring before giving the batter the benefit of the doubt.Chahal switched ends, but with the ball growing softer on a damp outfield, Guest cut him away for four, Reece then sweeping to bring up his 50. With the game drawing to a conclusion, Guest cracked George Scrimshaw through extra cover and then ran a single to reach his own half-century. Next over, Guest again powered Scrimshaw through the covers to take Derbyshire into the lead.

West Ham chiefs have now been told exactly what they need to complete a deal for AC Milan striker Santiago Gimenez in January, with Nuno Espírito Santo’s side in the market for another centre-forward as Niclas Füllkrug packs his bags.

The Hammers are stepping up their pursuit of a number nine ahead of the winter transfer window, with Fullkrug set to depart as the injury-ridden German international seeks a new chapter (Fabrizio Romano).

Fullkrug, according to multiple reliable media sources, is exploring options to leave, with talks already happening, after having struggled with injuries and a lack of overall form since his move from Borussia Dortmund last year. His impending departure has intensified the need for attacking reinforcements, with Nuno apparently keen to bolster his forward options following a difficult start to the campaign.

The East London club have “already” begun scouring the market for potential targets (Fabrizio Romano), and West Ham are reportedly keeping an eye on Man United striker Joshua Zirkzee as a potential reinforcement, among others.

West Ham have been linked with Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque and explored a loan move for Real Madrid’s Endrick, before Lyon swooped in to take command in the race for his signature as the Ligue 1 giants press ahead with a deal.

Additionally, Gimenez has emerged as a target for West Ham too.

The Mexico international, who scored for fun in the Eredivisie and even once commanded an £88 million price tag, hasn’t managed to carry on that form at the San Siro since making his eventual £28 million move to Milan earlier this year.

Gimenez has managed just seven goals in 30 total appearances for the Rossoneri, and Milan chiefs may now green-light a mid-season departure for the 24-year-old, who had previously starred under Arne Slot at Feyenoord.

The North American racked up 26 goals in 41 appearances in Slot’s final season at Feyenoord, and finished the previous campaign as their top scorer whilst firing them to the title that year.

Interestingly, Milan are believed to be interested in Fullkrug as a replacement for Gimenez, with the prospect of a swap deal even touted in the press very recently.

While the possibility of a swap deal or even part-exchange is apparently there, a report by Calciomercato has detailed exactly what David Sullivan needs to do to make a deal happen.

According to their information, West Ham’s hopes of securing Gimenez in January hinge on meeting strict conditions set by the Italian giants.

Milan will only consider selling for a permanent transfer fee of at least £22 million, and crucially, the deal must come from a club that Gimenez himself approves. The Italian outlet emphasizes that without these two conditions being met, any discussions remain purely hypothetical.

The situation presents both an opportunity and a challenge for Nuno’s side. However, that being said, there is reason to believe that Gimenez would be a major upgrade on Fullkrug.

The eight-year age difference between the two strikers means that West Ham would certainly benefit from a swap for the long-term, and unlike Fullkrug, Gimenez enjoyed 20-plus goal seasons in the build up to his Milan move.

Gimenez’s “sensational” form at Feyenoord attracted interest from elite Premier League sides, including Arsenal, and West Ham could now have a chance to help him rediscover his goalscoring touch in England.

Milan’s willingness to sell means a deal is there to be done, so Gimenez could genuinely be one of Nuno’s better options.

وتابع: “الكابتن حسام بدأ يلوم الجميع، عندما تتحدث الناس عن الأداء الفني، الأفضل أن يكون الموضوع عاديا، ولا توجد أي مشكلة، أفضل المدربين الذين تولوا منتخبات مصر وحققوا نجاحات، كانوا يتعرضون للانتقاد، ومنهم الكابتن محمود الجوهري رحمه الله، أنا أتذكر في 1998 تم انتقاد الكابتن الجوهري لاختياره الكابتن حسام حسن، وكان هناك حملة كبيرة جدًا، ولكننا حققنا البطولة دون أي مشكلة”.

وأضاف: “في 2006 عندما تم اختيار الكابتن حسن شحاتة، كان هناك انتقاد كبير جدًا، لكن الكابتن حسن حقق ثلاث بطولات، وكان يتم انتقاده، وناس كانوا يقولون (ده بياخدوها بالبركة)، وهذا طبيعي، حسام البدري عندما تولى منتخب مصر تم انتقاده، ولا توجد أي مشكلة، رحمه الله عليك كابتن إيهاب جلال عندما تولى المنتخب تم انتقاده أيضًا، ولا توجد أي مشكلة، طالما الأمر في الإطار الفني فهو طبيعي ولا توجد أي مشكلة”.

وواصل: “ولكن في بعض الأوقات يكون الإنسان عدو نفسه، أخشى أن يكون الكابتن حسام عدو نفسه في وقت هو مقبل على بطولة مهمة، وكل الناس تدعمه، ولا توجد أي مشكلة، بعض تصريحاته لم أفهمها، مثل (أنا لا أملك لاعبين محترفين مثل باقي الدول)!”.

واستدرك: “نحن دائمًا نحقق كأس الأمم الإفريقية بدون لاعبين محترفين، وشهد التاريخ على ذلك، في 1986 لم يكن لدينا لاعبين محترفين، وحققنا البطولة، وفي 1998 كان لدينا ثلاثة لاعبين محترفين فقط، هم الكابتن هاني رمزي، ياسر رضوان، وحازم إمام، وحققنا البطولة”.

وأضاف: “في 2006 و2010 لم نتجاوز ثلاثة أو أربعة محترفين في كل البطولات، نحن كمصريين نتميز بأننا نحقق الإنجازات بلاعبينا المحليين، لأنهم في النهاية محترفين، وهذا من ضمن الأمور، لدينا لاعبين جيدين، من ضمن هؤلاء مصطفى محمد، وتصريح الكابتن حسام ربما لم يكن مقصودًا، وأنا أتفق معه، قد يقصد أن عدد اللاعبين المحترفين قليل، هو نفسه يريد أن يلعب مصطفى بشكل أساسي، ولكن التصريح أثار الجدل وأثر على اللاعب، فقد يفقد ثقته في نفسه، فأتمنى أن يكون الموضوع قد انتهى”.

وتابع: “الفترة القادمة تحتاج إلى احتواء وكسب ثقة اللاعبين، أتمنى أن يذهب الكابتن حسام إلى مصطفى محمد، يكلمه، يوضّح له قصده، أن يريد مشاركته، أن يكون أساسيًا، قويًا، ويخدم المنتخب، أنا أثق فيه كثيرًا، فهو المهاجم رقم واحد، ويجب أن تحتويه”.

وأضاف: “بعض الأحيان يكون لدينا لاعبين ليسوا في أعلى مستوى، فنقول عنهم أفضل اللاعبين في العالم، هذه الجزئية مهمة جدًا، تحتاج إلى احتواء كبير، ويجب في بداية المعسكر أو قبله، أن يقوم الجهاز الفني، سواء الكابتن حسام أو كابتن إبراهيم أو كل الجهاز، بجمع اللاعبين، الاجتماع معهم، دعوتهم حتى خارج المعسكر، لتعزيز روح المجموعة، والروح الجميلة والترابط بين الجهاز واللاعبين، فهذا ما ينجح المنظومة”.

وأردف: “2006، 2008، 2010، وما زلت أقول 1998، ليس لأننا كنا أفضل منتخب في إفريقيا، ولكن لأننا كنا مترابطين، ولذلك حققنا البطولات، سواء لاعبين مع جهاز فني، أتذكر الكابتن الجوهري في 1998 كان هناك انتقاد شديد، وقال لنا لن نأخذ سوى المركز الثالث عشر، وفي النهاية الروح بيننا هي التي جعلتنا نفوز”.

واختتم: “كنا نلعب من أجل بلدنا، من أجل أسماءنا، من أجل كابتن الجوهري، وكابتن حسن شحاتة في 2006، 2008، 2010، الجميع كان يعلم أن نجاح هذا الجيل بسبب الترابط بين اللاعبين والجهاز الفني، هذه الجزئية هي التي تنجح أي منظومة، نصيحة من أخ صغير للكابتن حسام: الفترة القادمة تحتاج إلى احتواء وذكاء، ونتمنى له التوفيق خلال الفترة المقبلة مع منتخبنا”.
